Optical /Photonic waveguide and Its Application
A main concern of the field of modern optics is the generation, manipulation, guidance, and detection of light waves in waveguide for communication and information processing applications. The fundamentals of optical waveguides are based on the electromagnetic theory of light and its interaction with matter. My research work revolves around exploring silicon/glass based Bragg/ photonic structures and photonic crystals etc.
Specific areas of my Research work :

Optical optical fiber/photonics waveguides for development of photonic applications,

Nonlinear optics,Photonics waveguides and waveguide sensors, Meta material waveguides & computational technique.
Facilities and Tools used:
-In house codes for simulations with Matlab,mathematica and Labview.
